We hadden hem 8 maand geleden ontdekt bij Colruyt: een Chileense Carmener om U tegen te zeggen, aan een prijs die Jee doet zeggen. Maar na enige tijd was hij uit de rekken. Nu blijkt hij terug, en - wat vaak niet het geval is - de kwaliteit is nog steeds hoog!

We had discovered it at the Colruyt supermarket: Top Chilean Carmener for a very reasonable price. It was soon depleted. But now it is back. We retasted, and lo and see: the quality is maintained!

ADOBE EMILIANA CARMENER Vino Organico (bio) 2008 REVISITED - Chile - Valle Colchagua

Voor het oog:
gebald robijnrood met paarse rand; levendige kleur, die het glas na walsen kleurt
To the eye:
dark ruby with purplish rim; lively colour tainting the galss after shaking
Aan de neus:
Diepfruitige Carmenère neus: een mandvol donkerrood fruit (vlier!), donkere viooltjes, peper, Noir de Noir, licht gebrande koffie (geef hem lucht!)
At the nose:
Deep fruity Carmener nose: basket full of dark red fruit (elderberry!), black chocolate, dark violets, pepper, lightly toasted moccha (give it air!)
In de mond:
Voorop komt het fruit: sappig donkerrood fruit ingebed in frisse zuren en zuiderse kruiden, en met een mooie onderbouw van zijdige tannines in de lange zalige afdronk
In the mouth:
Fruit is the first gueast in the mouth: lively dark red fruit on a bed of fresh acid and southern spices, with an understructure of silky tannin in the long succulent finish
Conclusie
Adobe:'handgemaakte steen van zand, klei en organisch materiaal'. Deze wijn is een synthese van de donkerrode vruchten van de aarde met bloemen errond, fijn zuur en zachte tannines. Alcohol 14,5%! Even goed als de 2007. Blijkt ook bij herproeven		   Conclusion
Adobe means handmade stone of clay, sand and organic materials. Transferred to the wine; a synthesis of all dark red fruits of the earth surrounded by dark flowers, packed in fine acid and silky tannin. High alcohol (14,5%) may detract some people
