NOVAS CARMENER CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2009 - Valle Colchagua -
2009
Voor het oog:
gebald donker robijnkleurig, met paarse rand en stevige tranen (alcohol!)
To the eye:
firmly concentrated dark ruby with purplish rim, thick legs (alcohol!)
Aan de neus:
eerst wat gesloten, maar dan een korf vol donkerrood fruit (speciaal pruim), getoaste eik, vanille, mokka met licht animale toets (niet hinderlijk)
At the nose:
a bit closed at first, then a panoply of dark red fruit (especially plums), toasted oak, vanilla, moccha and slightly animal tones
In de mond:
sappige donkerfruitige aanzet met pruim en kers, kruidig ook, ingepakt in heel goede zuren en stevige maar niet-aggressieve tannines; ellenlange fruitig-kruidige en toch friszurige afdronk
In the mouth:
juicy darkfruity onset with plums and cherry, spicy as well, packed in quite refined acid and solid non-aggressive tannin; endless fruity-spicy yet also fresh finish
Conclusie
monumentale blend van de donkerfruitige Carmenère druif in volkomen harmonie met de kruidige Cabernet, gerijpt in de gezegende Colchagua vallei. Nog een meesterwerk van Emiliana's Alvaro Espinosa. En die prijs!		   Conclusion
