SANTA RITA blijft in Chili een belangrijk en kwalitatief hoogstaand bedrijf. Alleen zien we dat supermarkt Carrefour het aanbod, dat vroeger meer dan 10 wijnen omvatte, heeft ingeperkt. Niettemin: kwaliteit is er, zie maar hieronder. Ander bewijs: het bekende US magazine "Wine & Spirits" riep hen uit tot "Winery of the year 2010"

SANTA RITA de Chile remains an important and qualitative winery. However, in Belgium, supermarket Carrefour has reduced the spectrum of offerings from more than 10 wines to just a few. SANTA RITA 120 SAUVIGNON BLANC 2010 revisited - Chile - Lontue

Voor het oog:
helder bleekgeel, groene flits, traant behoorlijk
To the eye:
clear pale yellow, greenish reflection, shows legs
Aan de neus:
duidelijk fruitige én bloemige neus van witte camille, citrus, - kruisbesblad, perzik, appel en gras
At the nose:
expressive floral-fruity nose of white camomilla, citrus, gooseberry leaf, peach, apple and hay
In de mond:
krachtige droge aanzet met weer fruitig-florale uitbundigheid van perzik en kamille, in heel verfrissend zuur ; licht kruidig bittertje in de beklijvende afdronk met citrus in de retro
In the mouth:
zesty dry and quite floral onset with refreshing acid and ripe white fruit; impressive but nice bitter touch in the long finish, with citrus in the retronasal phase
Conclusie
Herproeven bevestigt: een raszuivere Sauvignon Blanc met fruit en bloemen voorop en verder fris tintelend zuur en citrusachtige kruidgheid. En zie de prijs!		   Conclusion
this is a surprisingly racy Sauvignon Blanc with very floral (camomille) and fruity (peach) character, enhanced with titillating fresh acid and citrussy bitterness. And see the price! Hesitation A/A+
Drink bij:
Vooreerst aperitiefwijn pur sang. We hadden hem verder bij maatjes: heerlijk want zowel floraal als fruitig complement! Verder asperges op zijn Vlaams en zomerslaatjes met gerookte vis of vlees
Drink with:
First: a wine to be enjoyed by itself! We had it further with young fresh herring and onion: superb, because offering both floral and ripe fruity complement! Further asparragus with egg-butter sauce, summer salads with smoked fish or meat

complex nose of first oak and vanilla, dark cherry and cassis, vanilla, mint, lightly toasted oak and spicy touch
In de mond:
rijpfruitige en mondvullende aanzet met veel kers en cassis, gedragen door fijne zuren en goede tannines; lange donkerfruitige finale met kers in de retro
In the mouth:
ripe fruity mouth filling onset with lots of cherry, complemented with fine acid and good tannin; long dark fruity finish with cherry in the retronasal phase
Conclusie
Weerom een donkerfruitige mondvullende en toch ook frisse en elegante Cabernet Sauvignon van Santa Rita met goed bewaarpotentieel. Mooie prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Decanteren!		   Conclusion
Again a dark fruity opulent yet also fresh and elegant non-commercial Cabernet Sauvignon from Santa Rita. Good potential. Nice price-quality relationship

Conclusie
