Zoals niet iedereen weet is het grootste deel van Spar (Laurus) door Colruyt overgenomen, kwestie van een sterk "buurtwinkelnetwerk" in de portefeuille te hebben. Bij zo'n operatie moet gevreesd worden dat sommige sterke troeven, zoals een eigen(zinnig) wijnaanbod, zullen verdwijnen. Colruyt is zo verstandig geweest om het grootste deel te behouden, aangevuld met een aantal van hun eigen basiswijnen. We proefden opnieuw een selectie, en deden weer leuke ontdekkingen.

Aan de neus:
zachtfruitige neus van appel, gele perzik, mango, citrus, gemengd met jasmijn en een vleugje terroir 
At the nose:
 
mellow fruity nose of apple, yellow peach, mango, citrus, interwoven with jasmine and a clear touch of soil
In de mond:
volle fruitige aanzet (perzik!) ingebed in heel fijne zuren, en met een mooi bittertje in de vrij lange evenwichtige afdronk

Conclusie
Espiga betekent "rijpe aar". Op dit wijngoed niet ver van de zee wordt ook graan verbouwd. Dit is dan ook een zomerse rijpfruitige wijn, met zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding		   Conclusion

Conclusie
Een grootse Carmener die inderdaad op "twee pijlers" rust: het sappige donkerrode fruit en de heel goede zuur-bitter balans. Eens te meer toont Chili wat de druif vermag. Grens A+/AA		   Conclusion
