VIÑAS DEL VERO CHARDONNAY 2011 - Chile - Somontano
2010
Voor het oog:
helder citroen- tot goudgeel, glanzende spiegel, stevig tranend
To the eye:
very clear lemon-to-gold, shiny mirror, solid legs
Aan de neus:
mooi gevulde neus met de ingrediënten van Chardonnay: boter, amandelnoot, ananas, rijpe peer, maar ook citrus, met duidelijke minerale toets en vanille
At the nose:
an opulent nose with most of the well-known ingredients of chardonnay: cream, almond nuts, pineapple, ripe pear, yet also citrus, clear mineral touch plus vanilla
In de mond:
romige en rijpfruitige aanzet (ananas, peer), goede vulling met nootjes en romigheid, kruidig ook en voldoende frisse zuren; een stevig doorsmakende diepfruitige afdronk met graniet in de retro
In the mouth:
creamy and fruity onset (pineapple, pear), fairly concentrated with nuts and cream plus spices and enough acid to keep the balance; well-integrated long fruity-spicy finish, with granite in the retronasal phase
Conclusie
Zoals in vorige jaren: volfruitig, romig, maar ook voldoende fris, kuidig en mineralig. Beklijvende afdronk! Grens A+/AA		   Conclusion
as in previous years: deep fruity, creamy and at the same time revealing fresh acid to tame its opulence. Impressive finish! Limit A+/AA
Drink bij:
Visslaatjes met ook nootjes, zacht gebakken vis (koolvis zoals wij deden met broccoli, victoriabaars), notentaart, aperitief met studentenhaver
Drink with:
fish salads, softly baked cole fish (as we did) or victoria bream with broccoli, nuts cake, aperitif with dried fruit
