diep goudgeel, zeer helder
To the eye:
deep and very clear gold

Aan de neus:
mooi geconcentreerde neus van vooreerst abrikoos, dan witte rozijnen, honig, dadels, en ook weer lichte minerale toets
At the nose:
elegant mixicely concentrated ed nose of first of all dried apricots, then white raisins, honey, dates, and a clear mineral touch

In de mond:
een mondvol gedroogd wit en geel fruit ingepakt in frisse zuren, met een rokerige toets en een sappig lang einde
In the mouth:
a basket full of dried white and yellow fruit, embedded in fresh acid and with a smoky touch; long juicy finish

Conclusie
Heel mooi gemaakte "drogebessenwijn": zongedroogd wit en geel fruit, frisse Rieslingzuren en mineralen. Flesje 37,5 cl. Lijkt prijzig, maar denk even aan de kleine opbrengst en het vele werk!

Conclusion
The full beauty of late Riesling harvest: sundried white and yellow fruit, Riesling acid and minerals. Bottle: 37,5 cl. Thin of the low yields, all the work, and then find a reasonable price.

Drink bij:
Heel goed als aperitief. We proefden hem ook bij Frambozentaart (echt goed) en bij Shropshire kaas. Perfect bij dit laatste
Drink with:
Very good aperitif. We also tried it with raspberry cake (quite good) and with Shropshire blue cheese. The latter combination was perfect

gedroogd rijp geel fruit, met voorop weer donkere rozijnen, maar ook honig en peperkoek

dried ripe yellow fruit, especially daark raisins, yet also honey and gingerbread

In de mond:
volfruitige smaak met weer gedroogd fruit, fijne zuren en een licht kruidige toets; lange diepfruitige en licht kruidige afdronk
In the mouth:
full fruity palate with again confied yellow fruit on fine acid and with a small spicy touch; long deep fruity and lightly spicy finish

Conclusie
Het prototype van een complexe witte porto met zowel gekonfijt fruit en rozijnen als kruiden en frisse zuren

Ook deze probeerden we met Blauwe Deense kaas en Stilton: ging vooral uitstekend bij het eerste! Verder amandeltaart

heel complexe neus met gedroogde rozijnen en pruim, plus koffie, chocolade en duidelijk ook kruiden
At the nose:
quite complex nose with dried red raisins and plums, plus mocha, chocolate and clearly also spices

In de mond:
al even complexe in de mond: rozijnen, gedroogde pruim, chocolade, en dit alles ingebed in frisse zuren en een dragend bittertje; perfect evenwichtige lange afdronk
In the mouth:
eqaully complex palate: raisins, dried plums, chocolate - and all this upon a structure of good acid and refined bitter; perfectly balanced long finish

Conclusie
Wat we al jaren weten: de perfect geïntegreerde tawny van Aguilar. Groots voor zijn prijs

What we have been experiencing for years: a perfectly balanced tawny from Aguilar. Very high quality for the price

Drink bij:
Deze tawny kan bij veel gerechten passen: kaasfondue, blauwe Shropshire, fruittaart met kers, vijgen en pruimen, en zelfs "jamon del pais"
Drink with:
This tawny will be a good companion to many dishes: cheese findue, blue Shropshire cheese, fruit cake with cherry, plums and figs, and even dried Spanish ham

Complexiteit is het kenmerk van een "belegen" wijn als de tawny, tenminste als hij met zorg is geselcteerd. Complexity is a characteristic of a "matured" wine like tawny, at least when it has been selected with care and skill

helder stro- tot citroengeel, mooie spiegel

clear straw-to-lemon, nice mirror

Aan de neus:
mooi gemengde neus met abrikoos, pompelmoes, limoen, honig en ook duidelijke minerale toets
At the nose:
nicely mixed nose with apricot, grapefruit, lime, honey and a clear touch of minerals

In de mond:
de rijke neus wordt in de mond weerspiegeld: rijp geconcentreerd geel fruit, honig en limoenig fris zuur, met weer minerale toets in de vrij lange afdronk
In the mouth:
the welathy nose is nicely mirrored on the palate: ripe concentrated yellow fruit, honey, limey fresh acid, and again a mineral touch in the fairly long finish

Conclusie
Deze Bonnezeaux houdt de eer van de zoete Chenin Blanc regio hoog, haast evenwaardig aan Chateau de Fesle die 2-3 keer meer kost. Fles 50 cl

Conclusion
This Bonnezeaux upholds the high reputation of the sweet Chenin in the Loire, nearly equivalent to the Chateau de Fesle which costst 2-3 times more. Bottle 50 cl

heel rijpfruitige neus met witte rozijntjes, mango en vanzelfsprekend muskaat; je ruikt ook alcohol
At the nose:
deepfruity nose with dried white raisins, mango and, of course, muscat: one smells alcohol as well

In de mond:
sappige diepfruitige aanzet met exploderend geel en exotisch fruit, maar ook mineralig en met voldoende zuur om het geheel in evnwicht te houden; zalige lange diepfruitige en mineralige afdronk
In the mouth:
juicy deep fruity onset with exploding yellow and exotic fruit, but also mineral touch and with enough fine acid to keep the balance; heavenly long deep fruity finish

Conclusie
Een heerlijke zoete fruitbom met toch voldoende zuur voor een gaaf evenwicht. Ongelooflijk voor die prijs
